The INEOS Grenadier is known for its old-school aesthetics, body-on-frame construction, and off-road capability through tough terrain.
However, we found opportunities to dramatically improve the handling on-road and through rough terrain. We found the vehicle’s steering works well in slow-speed maneuvers but required input to track straight and return the wheel to center. We also felt more body roll than we'd like through corners and could hear road chatter in the cabin.
Our ride engineers spent considerable time testing the Grenadier, evaluating suspension geometry, and optimizing shock valving for a wide range of driving conditions, specifically for this vehicle. 0–2.0 inches of lift maintains factory travel numbers and preserves droop for maximum articulation off-road without compromising the Grenadier’s driveline. FOX’s steering stabilizer dramatically improves the wheel return-to-center and high-speed driving without wander for more confidence behind the wheel. On rougher roads and trails, you'll notice a quieter cabin and feel more vehicle balance, for a comfortable ride.
